What We Produce

Rise Substrates produces a complete range of coco peat and coir-based growing media from our facility in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu — the heart of India’s coconut belt. Our products include 5KG compressed blocks, 650G bricks, grow slabs, open top grow bags, coir discs, pellets, and grow cubes. Every format is manufactured to order, with customer-specified pith and chip ratios, EC targets, and pH parameters. All substrate is water-washed and sun-dried — no chemical treatments, no shortcuts.

We export to commercial greenhouse operations and horticultural distributors across Europe, the Middle East, Australia, and North America. With a background spanning both manufacturing and corporate environments, Muthukrishnaraj Nagamanickam brings a practical and professional perspective to Rise Substrates.

Coco peat has been part of his family business for years, and over the past five years, Muthu has been closely involved in the business, gaining hands-on experience across its operations and developing a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver consistent substrate products to professional growers.

Today, he is taking the business forward with a focused ambition: to build Rise Substrates into a trusted supplier for customers and greenhouse growers in global markets.

Before dedicating himself full-time to the family business, Muthu built his professional career with HCL Technologies and Avantor, gaining experience in international corporate environments, business processes, documentation, communication, and working with structured B2B organisations.

That experience now shapes how he approaches Rise Substrates — combining practical knowledge of the business with a professional understanding of how international customers expect their suppliers to communicate, operate, and deliver.

His focus is simple: build a reliable, professional, globally connected substrate business that customers can trust.
