These terms govern your use of risesubstrates.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Separate commercial terms apply to any actual supply of goods. Those are set out in the quotation, proforma invoice, or sales contract we issue — not on this page.

2. What this website is

This site provides information about our products and general technical guidance on growing in coco coir substrates. It is a business-to-business information and enquiry site. It is not an online shop — you cannot place an order or make a payment through it.

3. Prices and quotations

No price shown or implied anywhere on this site is an offer. All pricing is quoted individually, based on specification, volume, packing format, destination port and prevailing freight rates, and is valid only for the period stated in the quotation itself.

4. Product specifications

The specifications published on this site — including EC, pH, air-filled porosity, water holding capacity, expansion volume, block dimensions and weight — are typical values for our standard production, stated with the tolerances shown.

Coco coir is a natural agricultural product. Values vary between batches, and between harvests, within those tolerances. Where you require a specific guaranteed parameter, it must be agreed in writing in the contract for that order. Published website figures do not form a contractual specification.

5. Technical guidance

Our crop guides, blog articles and downloadable documents contain general agronomic information. They are not advice for your specific operation. Please read our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

6. Enquiries and downloads

When you submit an enquiry or download a guide you agree to provide accurate information. We use what you submit as described in our Privacy Policy. Submitting an enquiry places no obligation on either party, and does not oblige us to supply.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, crop guides, technical documents, photographs, diagrams, the Rise Substrates name and logo — is owned by Rise Substrates or used with permission, and is protected by copyright.

You may read, print and share our published guides for your own commercial growing use, and quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source page. You may not republish our content as your own, use it in a competing commercial publication, or remove attribution. For any other use, ask us first.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content at a scale that disrupts service, or submit false enquiries.

9. External links

Where we link to third-party sites, research or standards bodies, we do so for reference. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, we do not accept liability for loss of profit, loss of crop, loss of yield, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on information published on it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of your local law.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here at the time you use the site is the version that applies.
